More than 80 years ago, Miss Marie-Jeanne Fortier founded École de musique de Verdun, now located at the corner of Wellington St. and Osborne St. in the Verdun borough. We have more than 45 certified and highly qualified teachers that offer piano, violin, viola, cello, flute, recorder, clarinet, saxophone, guitar, ukulele, harp and singing lessons.

Our school has now more than 400 students receiving thorough musical training every year that follows their individual learning pace. We provide a high-level musical education for amateur students as well as students that wish to complete post-secondary studies in music.

We offer private lessons and multiple group classes. Individual instrument lessons are always accompanied by music theory and ear training courses (except for adults) or the initiation to music class for younger students.
